We are strongly against the proposed Colleyville [rail] station. Driving to Grapevine to use their rail station is not only cost efficient but also convenient. Too many stations not only increase operating costs but increase pollution.Dear Editor:
A front page story over the 4th of July weekend in the Wall Street Journal described a situation in which a group of soldiers had completed their tour in Afghanistan and were headed home, when a colonel ordered them to delay their departure for "The Last Patrol." As a veteran who was awarded the Bronze Star and became legally blind as the result of service in Vietnam, I greatly admire the troops serving in the harsh environments of Afghanistan and Iraq.Dear Editor:

A few days ago, my daughter and I were dining at Mimi’s Restaurant in Grapevine. Halfway through the meal, I started choking and my daughter immediately cried for assistance. Luckily, one of the managers, Charles Stewart, was nearby and successfully used the Heimlich maneuver on me, saving my life!The DFW Tornados Soccer Club has been dragged into a classic no-win situation by the two residents over the “lighting dispute” at the Covenant Church fields.
